The International Service Team (IST) is the dedicated team of volunteers who make Hampshire International Jamboree happen. From welcoming arrivals and supporting activities to working behind the scenes in catering, logistics, communications, retail and much more, every member of the IST plays a vital role in delivering an unforgettable event.
Whether you can offer practical skills, leadership experience or simply a willingness to get stuck in, there's a place for you on the team.

How It Works
1. Join the International Service Team
Complete your application and secure your place on the HIJ International Service Team with your £20 deposit.
2. Tell Us About You
As part of your application, you'll tell us about your skills, experience, interests and any preferences for the type of role you'd enjoy.
3. We'll Match You to the Right Team
As our teams develop, we'll use the information you've provided to match you with a role where your skills and experience can make the biggest impact. We'll always aim to take your preferences into account wherever possible.
4. Get Ready for HIJ
We'll keep you updated throughout the planning journey before sharing your team, role information, training and everything you need ahead of HIJ 2028.
