Making HIJ more accessible
We want every young person to have the opportunity to experience HIJ. By registering early, you can secure your place with just a 10% deposit and spread the remaining balance over up to five payments.
The dates shown are the minimum payment milestones, but groups are welcome to make additional payments at any time to suit their budget and fundraising plans.

HIJ Flex Guarantee
Book with confidence, knowing your plans can adapt.
We know that booking for a jamboree nearly two years in advance requires planning and flexibility. That's why every group booking HIJ 2028 benefits from our HIJ Flex Guarantee.
Until 1 September 2027, groups can increase or decrease their original youth booking by up to 20% with confidence.

Reduce your original youth booking by up to 20% without losing payments already made against those places.

Secure your places early, knowing your plans can adapt as your group grows or changes.
Flex Guarantee in action
A group books 30 participant places at the Launch Price.
Before 1 September 2027, they can:
- Increase to 36 participants, with all 36 paying the Launch Price.
- Reduce to 24 participants, without forfeiting any payments already made.
If numbers increase by more than 20%, any additional participants beyond the Flex Guarantee will simply be charged at the registration price available when they are added.
Leader & Volunteer Pricing
Supporting every young person who attends
To help keep HIJ as affordable as possible for participants, registered leaders attend for just £50 each, regardless of when they register.
Leader registration includes:

🍽️ Access to the dedicated Leader & Volunteer Hub
☕ Complimentary tea and coffee in the Leader Hub
🎉 Access to the Leader & Volunteer Evening Programme

Please note: Leader registration does not include participation in the youth programme. Leaders are expected to support and supervise their young people throughout the event.

Optional Catering Package
For groups looking to simplify catering, HIJ will be offering an optional event catering package.
The package will provide all the ingredients needed for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day of the event, with units preparing meals on their own campsite.

Other Youth Pricing
Non-Participating Children
Children under the age of 10 accompanying registered adult leaders may attend HIJ for £50 per child.
These children are welcome to stay on site with their parent or guardian but will not take part in the youth activity programme.
Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Residential
Participants completing their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Residential may register as Event Staff and will pay the standard staff registration fee.
